             We can all admit that the housing market of 2008 was a frightening one for those trying to sell; and it was with this in mind that my husband, William, and I were concerned about how we would sell our home in Wheaton. Our move out of state came suddenly in the spring and we were not prepared. In the past, William and I had looked at purchasing a house further out from D.C. than where we were living in Silver Spring, and Harold and Rose were the nicest of the realtors we had dealt with. Although we did not buy a house at that time, Harold and Rose were very kind, offering their time and opinions again and again. So when we moved suddenly out of state, we sent an e-mail to Harold.

             Harold was great: he was easy to contact by phone and e-mail, and worked with us long-distance (since we were already out of state during the selling process) to get the Wheaton house on the market and sold. Harold and Rose wer e the ideal folks to work with. There was never any pressure to buy, back when we were looking at houses in the mid-2000's, and they were very supportive in our effort to sell the Wheaton house at a reasonable price in 2008. We are very pleased with their work, and I would recommend the Hannett's to others.

             When it came time to sell the Wheaton house where we had lived since 1980, we knew that we would choose Harold and Rose Hannett to be our agents. We had seen their FOR SALE signs for years and were impressed with how quickly the SOLD placard was added.
